Voice, Story & Art
Art makes me happy, and it has taken many forms throughout my life. I used to sing, and while that chapter of my life has changed, I’ve found another way to share my voice: through storytelling.
I feel incredibly lucky to bring books to life. So much of my own art has grown alongside my love of audiobooks, and eventually I felt the pull to be part of both sides of that creative coin—to create stories of my own and to give my voice to the stories of others.
Stories matter. They can give us perspective when we’ve lost it, offer a hand when reaching out feels too difficult, or simply give us a place to disappear for a while. Some of the darkest moments of my own life have been made a little lighter by an audiobook and the voice of someone telling me a story.
Now, I get to be that voice.
To make someone laugh, cry, fall in love, hold their breath, or even decide they’d happily help bury that one particularly terrible villain—that’s the magic of a good story, a great voice, and a little bit of art.
